Psychological (or psychoeducational) assessment can be beneficial for pinpointing problems that are getting in the way of success at school. In order to obtain necessary supports in the classroom or specific educational placements, an assessment is required. An assessment with High Point may identify:

  • Attention disorders (ADHD)

  • Learning disorders

  • Mood and anxiety disorders

  • Intellectual ability

  • Giftedness

  • Language disorders

  • Behavioural problems

Child Psychologist

With each assessment, we provide an individual strengths and areas of need profile, with tailored recommendations to make things easier. At the end of assessment, we are happy to consult with your child's school and teachers to ensure their success. Click here for more information on assessment.

High Point also provides assessment for adults with attention and learning concerns, and cognitive assessments for PDD and AISH applications. Please contact us for more information.
